We don’t have a name for this new experience, “Organized 12v12 Pugs”, “12v12 Casual+”, or any of the many other names that we’ve been reading in the past hours by scrolling through your comments. This direction is the result of considerable feedback collected through internal meetings (we have some hardcore fans of TF2 here at FACEIT), multiple community surveys, and countless 1:1 conversations with content creators and community leaders who provided an unmatched level of support and enthusiasm. From today, anyone can apply to join our short Closed Beta, and with things to test and polish everyone is welcome! This experience will be free for everyone to play from the 20th of March. In this first blog post, we are going to focus on giving an initial overview of the new 12v12 system that sets out to provide the community with a new accessible and rewarding experience, free from cheats and bots and where everyone can enjoy high quality and chaotic TF2.
